Health & Support Unit a winner in Sydney

The launch of the Health and Support Unit at the Sydney Truck Show proved to be a major success with a continuous flow of drivers and transport personnel braving it to step in side have a health check.

Some were given the all clear but there was quite a few that were given some serious advice for our registered nurses.

Several clients returned later in the day for a second blood pressure check, in the hope that their first high reading had declined.

Corporate's also lined up and with several realising they had been ignoring symptoms and were not as healthy as they would have liked.

Since the event, several drivers have made contact to advise that they have attended their GP and one Doctor reporting.

 The Health & Support Unit will tour Australia for the next two years

Attendance at NatRoad Conference a success

THF Director, John O'Loughlin and his wife Rhonda represented the Trans-Help Foundation at the recent NatRoad Conference on the Sunshine Coast.

The three day event proved to be very successful, with many enquires about the Foundation and the new Health and Support Unit, which was launched on the same weekend at the Sydney Truck Show.

Melbourne International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Expo

Major Charity Auction a success.

A Charity Auction was held at the Melbourne International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Expo to raise much needed funds for the Trans-Help Foundation.

The event would not have been possible without the generous support and donations from companies, who after hearing our plight, gave product and/or service for the Auction.
