PETER MURRELL is a specialised consultant with 35 years of legal experience in maritime, transport and trade law.
“Legal Profiles”, an independent review of the Australian legal profession, consistently rates Peter as one of the best lawyers in his areas of speciality in Australia. As recognition of this, he is a Fellow of a number of industry and professional associations and holds representative status to attend meetings of the Legal Committee of the International Maritime Organisation (“IMO”).
Peter has acted for transport owners and operators; customs brokers; freight forwarders; ship and boat builders and repairers; insurers and different arms of government.

* preparing terms of trade and terms and conditions of carriage and related documents;

As a result of Peter’s involvement with the IMO, he has established a network of contacts in some 150 countries with the result that the division handles work in all states and territories of Australia as well as most countries throughout the world.
Peters belief in the Trans-Help foundation and their objectives, resulted in him being a pro-bono solicitor for the last three years and now joins the Board of Directors.
